
About the Sky and Space Intergroup
Mission
The Sky & Space Intergroup is a parliamentary forum dedicated to supporting Europe’s leadership in aviation and space.
Its mission is to bring together Members of the European Parliament who are committed to these strategic sectors, and to foster structured dialogue with industry, research institutions, and civil society.
By doing so, the Intergroup ensures that aeronautics and space remain at the heart of EU political priorities.
Vision
We believe that a sovereign, competitive, and innovative Europe must rely on strong capabilities in both aviation and space.
These sectors are essential for Europe’s resilience, technological independence, and climate goals.
Our vision is of a Europe that leads globally in clean aviation and space-based systems — for the benefit of its citizens and future generations.

Secretariat
The Sky & Space Intergroup entrusts certain logistical activities to ASD and ASD-Eurospace, acting as Secretariat for the good organisation of its activities.
The Intergroup retains full independence in its decisions, political priorities, and programming. All initiatives are guided exclusively by the Intergroup’s mission and values, in full respect of the European Parliament’s rules on intergroups, including those on transparency.
